 Atif Aslam is a famous Singer from Pakistan whose famous songs  "Doorie" "Woh Lamhe" "Tu Jaane Na" "Kuch Is Tarah" "Aadat" "dil diyan gallan" and many more are remembered even today. He was born into a Punjabi Muslim family in Wazirabad and completed his studies in Lahore and Rawalpindi. Atif is most famous for his incredible heart touching songs. Atif Aslam Childhood Days and Schooling:

Atif Aslam was conceived in Wazirabad, Pakistan on 12 March 1983. His Zodiac Sign is Pisces. Atif began his schooling in Model Town, Lahore at Kimberley Corridor School. His first childhood stage performance was in an extravagant dress show at his school where he was depicted as Imran Khan (Prime Minister of Pakistan). He was very fond of cricket and was not very keen on music during childhood.

Atif Aslam life Story is an inspiration in itself. He was just 9 years old when his parents decided shifting to Rawalpindi where he learned at Holy Paul's Cambridge School. He returned to Lahore in 1995 and completed his studies in Divisional Public School (DPS), Lahore. He was a very energetic youthful kid in the class.

During this period, he was investing his best amounts of energy into turning an expert cricketer. With his interest in Cricket and hard work in Cricket nets, he was selected as a Bowler in the school cricket team. Atif schedule started becoming more about cricket practice. While his concentration was more drawn towards cricket, his love for studies started reducing. Atif was further selected in the ABN AMRO bank team. He was suggested a First Class Cricket Match until he left his cricket passion due to his low performance in studies. 

However, he completed his tenth grade at 14 years clearing all DPS exams successfully. Atif was granted double promotions from Kimberly Hall as an excellent learner. He was also a good Table Tennis and Kabaddi player in his school days. 

Atif completed his higher schooling from PAF College Lahore where he completed his F.Sc with the class 2001. He then proceeded with his Bachelors in Computer Science from  Punjab Institute of Computer Science (PICS) college. 

Atif Musical Journey Beginning

Atif was not much interested in Music.  His interest woke when he saw a Music collection of more than 7000 songs in his elder brother's room. He picked up rehearsing unconsciously by practicing among his family and friends.

Atif Aslam musical journey till date

Slowly, his friends and family started appreciating his singing. He started performing in the cafeteria during free time and even partook in Singing Competition for Freedom Day Celebration at PAF School Lahore in 1998. He performed there and won the competition. From that point onwards, he started partaking in other school competitions performing (Naats and Hamds) which further increased his musical interest. His Inspiration in Music was Ustad Nusrat Ali Khan Sahab and Kishore Kumar.

During his stay at PICS, he met young and talented music composer, Gohar Mumtaz. The duo chemistry was phenomenal and they started performaning in college functions and restaurants. This further pushed them to form a band and name it "JAL".

Jal recorded the tune Aadat at Mekal Hassan's Studio. The melody got well known on various music channels in Pakistan. The tune was even played at FM stations across Pakistan and other music websites picked his journey and started writing articles about him. 

Atif Solo Music Carrier

On 19th June 2004, Atif Aslam released his first Album Jal Pari under Sound Ace and IC records. Its advertisers announced it to be a sweeping success.  Within its 5 months of release, the Album became the highest collection of the year. 

Meanwhile, Atif cleared his degree in Software engineering (Hons) from the College of Central Punjab. Atif Aslam demand increased and he got a chance to perform at Royal Albert Hall on 14 April 2007.

His subsequent collection, Doorie was delivered to the audience on 22 December 2006. 

After the success in Albums, Atif got song offers from Bollywood Industry and sang two melodies for a Bollywood film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani called 'Tera hone Laga Hoon' and 'Tu Jaane Na', the two of which were musical hits and the songs were welcomed by the Indian crowd. Atif has likewise sung a lot more tunes for Bollywood like Pehli Nazar Mein (Race) and Bakuda Tum Hello Ho (Kismat Konnection). 

Atif Aslam's 'Selfish' Song in Race 3 was very much appreciated by the Indian Audience. After so many years still, his popularity has not yet reduced thanks to his versatile singing.

The love Story between Atif Aslam and Sara Bharwana is magical. Atif met Sara Bharwana in College Campus. Since both had similar Punjabi background, there was an instant connection from both sides. It was a love at first sight situation the singer was head over heels for Sara. Since then, the couples started seeing each other.

Sara's birthplace is Lahore and belongs to the popular Bharwana caste of Rajasthan. Her ancestors were originally from India and converted to Islam by taking the blessing of Sufi Saint, Baba Farid Ganj Shakar.
